Hi Bob, Sorry it has taken me so long to get back with my comments! Just couldn’t bring myself to it because it has been snowing nonstop since we got back. I would have to start with we will be back! Conchy Kai was lovely, very clean and comfortable, we had an issue with the internet (not me for sure, I didn’t touch a computer!) but that was taken care of. Everyone was so friendly, Willy and Jan showed us Cloud Nine #9 and sadly at the moment we can’t take it on by ourselves and our potential partner decided against it for the time being. The proximity to Rum Point was perfect, it doesn’t get any better for location. My young children enjoyed every minute of our vacation. They loved Conchy Kai and the lagoon with it’s fishes and crabs, we even borrowed a kayak and were able to take them out for an adventure. For me it was perfect, I never made it past the airport to the west side of the island and never felt the need. Why, when we were living in undisturbed paradise! My favorite time of day...early morning, for the first time I never complained about my son waking me up before the sun, he and I would be up before anyone and sit on the deck and watch the still waters of the lagoon reflect the pinks and oranges of the sunrise, it was the perfect start to 8 restful and sunny days. The view from Conchy Kai is gorgeous, I said I would never mind cooking again if I could look up from my frying pan and see that picture every day. So in short, our holiday was perfect, worth every penny and your advice before we left was excellent and most helpful. Please send our thanks to Willy and Jan they were also very helpful and kind while we were there. Who knows, maybe when we can gather the funds we will be back to buy our own Island House! We will return for sure in 2010, and possibly next year but we are committed to a cruise (I am trying to convince my husband we can squeeze in a little side trip!). Thank you for everything!
