Starboard Kai is located on Sand Pointe Cove and it is a perfect romantic get-away.

It is an open concept design Island House that brings nature and the island breeze indoors.

Everything is new, from custom kitchen cabinets, granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, all new tile floors.

 

The living room is beautifully appointed with high quality hardwood furniture, including a large entertainment center with a

46" HDTV flat screen with Blue Ray DVD and newly tiled floors throughout.

It has a Nautica sofa, two large comfortable chairs, coffee table, end table and easy access to the lanai.

The front office area, which overlooks Rum Point Beach, has a wooden desk and two comfortable tub chairs for relaxing or reading.

The formal dining area is between the living room and the kitchen. It can seat six people. Enjoy dinner inside

or dine casually in the lanai with a view of the sand beach leading to the sheltered cove.

The kitchen has all new solid wood cabinets in a classic elegant off-white style with granite countertops on both the island and main counter.

 

All appliances are new state of the art Energy Star rated stainless steel.

A dual zone wine and beverage refrigerator can accommodate your favorite drinks.

 

A laundry room is situated next to the kitchen with washer and dryer. A half bath is also conveniently located on the main floor.

Access to the lanai is through two 10 foot sliding glass doors from both the kitchen and living room.

A generous staircase leads to the second floor landing and the two bedrooms on each end of the hallway.

pillow-top mattress, side tables, dresser and mirror and 32-inch flat panel TV. The walk-in-closet features a solid wood wardrobe.

A separate air conditioning system ensures a restful sleep after a busy day.

The full private master bath has granite countertops and a beautiful tiled walk-in-shower.

The private balcony off the master bedroom gives you a breathtaking view of Sand Point Cove and

a place to sit and enjoy your morning coffee or evening drink.

The guest bedroom features hardwood and wicker furniture including 2 queen beds, a full dresser

 and a full private bath, walk-in closet with hardwood wardrobe and 32-inch flat panel TV.

 

Equipped with its own air conditioning system, the guest room provides a relaxing environment during the day or night.

The full private bath in the guest bedroom has granite countertops and a new combination bathtub and shower.

The balcony off the guest bedroom overlooks Sand Point Cove and is a perfect place to start or end your day.

The door from the lanai leads to the white sandy expanse between Starboard Kai and the cove and a short

walk to the pool. An outside shower is at the end of the ramp.

The two story screened lanai is spacious with plenty of seating and overlooks the sandy beach leading to the cove.

The lanai is furnished with "dark roast" colored wicker and two ceiling fans for extra comfort. There is a charcoal grill next to the ramp outside.

Starboard Kai has two single person kayaks and one two person kayak (life vest and paddles are also provided).

There are two new bicycles allowing you to explore Cayman Kai.

The Pool for the Guests of the Island Houses

The deck is surrounded by inlayed title.

You can swim in the 20' x 40' private pool surrounded by palm trees with their branches gently swaying in the breeze.

For those who enjoy lounging by the pool, there is plenty of deck furniture consisting of a mixture of chaise lounges, chairs, and tables.

Pool has walk in steps for safety and comfort.

Enjoy the beautiful view of the cove from the pool. Take an evening swim in the lighted pool.

Get ready for a fabulous nocturnal spectacle one of only 11 bioluminescent bays in the world when kayaking at night!!

 

A microorganism lights up when you disturb the water. It is truly a sight to see and you can experience this right outside your door.

When the lights go down, the micro-organisms in the bioluminescent cove put on a fabulous show as guests tour the cove. As you paddle through the water, the micro-organisms illuminate leaving a shiny silvery streak of water. Your paddle will take the form of a light saber as you slice through the night water.

The dock on the rare bioluminescent cove is steps from the lanai.

The famous Rum Point Beach is just across the road from the Island House.

A few steps out your front door will find yourself at the renowned Rum Point Beach, the most picturesque beach in Grand Cayman. The shallow and clear waters and pink/white sand of Rum Point Beach make it ideal for swimming and offers some of the finest snorkeling in the Caribbean. Rum Point is located in a protected marine park, so grab your snorkeling gear and take in the vibrant views and abundant sea life along the reef just offshore. Adults and children alike will enjoy relaxing and playing in the clear, turquoise, shallow waters. Also at Rum Point, you will find the Red Sail Sports activity center, where you can book Sting Ray City trips as well as other excursions.
