Each Island House is decorated to the owner's taste (formal/informal) & some have additional amenities (air conditioning on the first floor, different sizes beds in bedrooms (king, queen, double), Queen pull out sofa in living room, TV in Master Bedroom and/or the Guest Bedroom, Internet Access, bicycles, kayak & equipment, snorkeling equipment).

Calypso Sands is a tastefully, and fully furnished vacation rental property with living room, dining room, sitting room, fully equipped kitchen, laundry room, two bedrooms with full baths and balcony's and a two story lanai. Also there is a queen sleeper sofa in the living room.

The large comfortable living room opens through two ten foot sliding glass doors to the two story lanai.

The dining area seats six very comfortably and is just off the kitchen.

The dining room comfortably seats six and is next to the fully equipped kitchen with complete laundry room.

The fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances including refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, blender and garbage disposal. The laundry room has a full size washer and dryer and the Island House comes equipped with linens and towels, along with basic toiletries for your arrival. The unit Cable TV, Bose stereo, and phone. The sitting room is comfortable and off the living room.

The Island House has a king size bed in the master bedroom with a full bath,
walk in closet and a balcony that overlooks the back yard, pool and lagoon
 
The guest bedroom has two double size beds with full bath, walk in closet and a
balcony that overlooks the back yard and pool.
 
The 2 story screened lanai is spacious and over looks the back yard with a short walk out your back door to the pool. The Island House is shaded under Australian pines and enjoys consistent trade winds that come across from Rum Point through the facility to the Cayman Kai lagoon with usually no A/C required. However, this unit has air conditioners in each of the bedrooms as well as in the first floor living area. In addition, the Island House has ceiling fans throughout for our guests.
 Sit in your lanai and enjoy the stunning view of the
backyard and the calm water of the lagoon.

Care to take your dip in a swimming pool rather than the Caribbean Sea? You can swim in our 20' x 40' private pool surrounded by palm trees with their branches gently swaying in the breeze. For those who would rather lounge by the pool than swim, there is enough deck furniture provided for 20 people with a mixture of chairs, lounges and benches.

Enter Rum Point Beach by taking a few steps from your front door on a sand path between white picket fences. As you walk toward the beach, cool trade winds quickly erase all thoughts of your job, commute and bad weather at home. Australian pines with island parrots and tropical birds sitting on feathery branches shade the shore.

Rum Point Beach features lovely white sand beaches, pristine snorkeling over marine protected reefs, volleyball and beautiful Casuarinas Australian pines with shaded hammocks, beach chairs and picnic tables. The Wreck Bar & Grill offers an excellent lunch menu and full bar.
